Howie returns to court.

Pop star Howie Day will Collide with the
Massachusetts judicial system once again
on April 13 in East Boston, reports the
Suffolk County District Attorney.

The Brewster, Maine, homeboy, you may
remember, was arrested at Logan
International Airport at Christmastime after
wreaking havoc on a Boston-bound American

Airlines flight from Florida.

Day, who was verbally abusive to the crew, lit matches, smoked in the lavatory and kicked the backs of his fellow first-class passengers' seats, was charged with interfering with a flight crew.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Dec. 23 at East Boston District Court and was released on personal recognizance. Defense attorney Paul Kelley blamed Day's bizarre behavior on a mixture of "a couple of drinks" and a sleeping pill.
