fandl-monium!!!! the results are in for the worlds best cornbread contest, nice work val u win free dinner at steak and shake. as usual the indy folks treated us right. thank u all. its been great we've just finished up doing about a weeks worth of shows with the pat mcgee band. they were awesome as usual. but doing shows with pmb means one thing for me..... hanging out with the jesus of merchindising brian. he is what every merch guy should be like and is one of the funniest mf's around id give him a kidney. me and howie are now heading home for thanksgiving the bus ride has been long but fun. we r excited to go home to our mansions and eat cornicopias full of thanksgiving duck, candied plums, and lemon squares..... o what a delight. we've been eating dennys for days and days, i might change my name on my birth certificate to grandslam breakfast...yoy.... double yoy. we've been driving around constantly and i think we've listened to every cd 17 times. the show in urbana (or as ive been referring to it for days in my head as urbanadanadana.....or even urban bandana is that a john travolta movie?) was spectak, we were amazed at our fan base in town, so amazed that a die hard howie day fan tried scalping him a ticket. hopefully we will see y'all again soon. what can ya say about chicagoland. it was crazy as expected the crowd had an inasane amount of energy which made for an insane show. during the pat mcgee set howie came out and dominated the bongos with chardy like there was battery acid in his pants and for the first time stage dove into the jam packed crowd. "first thing i did was call my mom to tell her", quoted an energetic howie day floating on cloud 9. the next day we packed it all in and went to cleveland. no one at the club seemed to know we were coming. thanks to the fans who showed up anyway no matter if there was a rumor that howie wasnt playing there.... during ghost "beams of light" was transformed into "cleveland ....gonna raise up... take your shirt off..swing it 'round your head like a helicopter". well thats all from us have a happy thanksgiving and we will see u all at the 9:30 club in d.c. on saturday. later on........
