I'm gonna say what I mean...
Howie's Journal 12.06.2004
I was looking through this month's issue of American Way magazine on my flight today, and they're having a contest to find the ultimate road warrior! OMG! OMG! (ps... i think OMG is sooooo cute), OMG no I don't. I could win this, I thought. I check out the entry form. First problem, there's 2 essay questions. Essay questions! Who's actually going to do this??? Then they want to know your slogan while travelling. Well, mine has always been, "NOTHING WORKS"... I don't think that's much of a winning slogan! After all of this, I end up stuck at Logan airport for 6 hours. OMG a cat just made a really loud sound oustide. Where was I... Oh, right... So I then finally after 6 hours they cancelled my flight. So, I packed it up, rented a car, and drove up to Maine. I had my iPod to keep me occupied for the 4 hour drive. Here's a picture I took while driving:

OFFICIAL COMFORT ROAD SONGS OF THE DAY:
Kraftwerk "Trans Europe Express"
Broken Social Scene "Anthems for a Seventeen-Year-Old Girl"
My Morning Jacket "Golden"
A Perfect Circle "The Nurse Who Loved Me" Chicago, you were great. I always look forward to time spent in Chicago. After a super early morning TV appearance, we did a free show at the HOB (ha, it's kinda like OMG... remember that band OMC?) with the mix.... I haven't played a gig in a bit, so I enjoyed it through and thru. I wanna give a shout out to the good people at the mix for being so supportive of my shiznazzle! And, of course all of the fans who came out too! You ALL rocked my world Wednesday! I think the term "shout out" is really funny BTW.

heart,
